Ubitransport winner of French Tech 120 2022 for the 3rd time🐓
1 February 2022. Cédric O, the French Secretary of State for Digital Transition and Electronic Communications and Clara Chappaz, Director of French Tech, have announced the 2022 French Tech Next40/120 class. Ubitransport is confirmed for the 3rd consecutive year in this programme that supports the most successful French scale-ups, capable of becoming world-class technology leaders.
The 2022 ranking illustrates the acceleration of French Tech with entry levels in categories such as hypergrowth, turnover and fundraising even higher than in previous years. The startups in the French Tech Next40/120, such as Ubitransport, are strategic companies for the French economy because of their economic performance, their ability to positively transform society and their high recruitment rate.
By combining digital technology and mobility, Ubitransport aims to expand its activities internationally and be a scale-up company that all regions can count on to realise its raison d’être: Unlocking urban and intercity mobility, together. With 150 networks in France and abroad, Ubitransport customers’ vehicles cover 165 million km per year to enable more efficient and inclusive mobility.
“We are particularly honoured by the renewed confidence of the Government. Ubitransport is growing, becoming more structured and facing new challenges every year. The French Tech Next 40/120 programme is a lever and a valuable help to overcome our challenges” explains Jean-Paul Medioni, CEO and founder of Ubitransport.
With the acquisitions of Billettique Services and Ceccli, Ubitransport has made its first major change in its construction and strategic positioning in 2019 and 2020. In addition to its historic headquarters in Mâcon, Ubitransport has offices in Lyon, Besançon, Cagnes-sur-Mer, Saint-Laurent-du-Var and more recently, Paris.
